Our Mission

To honor and remember the sacrifices of Curtis and all veterans who have given so much for our country. Funds raised will be donated in form of a scholarship for educational or donation to support veterans and their families needs.

A new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument honoring the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military is currently being planned in Minnesota.

CPL Curtis M. Swenson

USMC CPL Curtis M Swenson was killed April 2, 2010 in Helmond Province Afghanistan. Curtis served with Weapons Co, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Division in Kaneohe Bay, HI. Deployed to Iraq from August 2008-March 2009 and Afghanistan from November 2009-April 2010 where he was killed by a road side bomb while serving as a gunner of a vehicle assisting another in distress. Coming from a long line of Marines and service members, Curtis was eager to serve his country. He was quick witted, strong minded and a loyal friend.

Memorial Scholarship

We were honored to give out the first CPL Curtis M Swenson Memorial Scholarship in 2011 starting with one student from his alma mater, Mayo High School. Since then we have expanded the outreach to all South East Minnesota. Students with a family military history compete for five $1000 educational scholarships yearly.

Veterans Support

Because of the sacrifices our Military, Veterans and their Families have made, it is an honor to support them in any way we can: physical, emotional or financial. We always looking for new opportunities to give.

Memorial Golf Benefit (Registration Is Now Open)

The CPL Curtis M Swenson Memorial Golf Benefit started in 2011. This event held the Saturday after Memorial Day each year. It is a way to honor and remember as well as raising funds for our passion, helping our local Military, Veterans and their families.
